Summer means Big Brother, and Big Brother always means a lot of rumors, most of them fake. One recent rumor going around claimed that Big Brother ex-housemate Dennis McHugh was “demanding” 900 pounds in return for an apology for spitting on another housemate. This is completely false. It’s simply untrue. Dennis has apologized many times since being removed from the house to many different people, and even asked Big Brother producers if he could return to the house for a short time to apologize to Mohamed (the housemate he spat on) himself. And no, not for pay. What actually happened is this. Dennis was offered 900 pounds by a magazine for an exclusive interview (exclusive meaning he would sign an agreement not to do an interview with any other magazine). Naturally, when a different newspaper called to offer him less than that for an exclusive interview in their own publication, he declined, as of course he had already been offered more than that by the other magazine. Of course, tabloids twisted the entire story into something it wasn’t, but there’s the truth.

Dennis Wants To Apologize To Mohamed
July 1st, 2008 · 5 Comments
Dennis McHugh told The Sun this evening that he wants to return for a short visit to the Big Brother house to apologize to Mohamed Mohamed. Dennis has stated numerous times since he was removed from the Big Brother house just how sorry he is and how much he regrets the incident. He really wants a chance to say it to Mohamed himself. After instinctively spitting on Mohamed, who unknown to him once beat up a classmate for being gay, as Mohamed was shouting at him and a few other housemates, Dennis was called to the diary room to calm down. The next day, Dennis was called to the diary room again and ejected from the house. Since then Dennis has been in hiding.
Dennis also told The Sun that he is not angry with the Big Brother producers for removing him from the Big Brother house, as he himself would have walked if he’d not been removed.
We still love you, Dennis!

Big Brother Video Of Dennis Spitting At Mohamed
June 27th, 2008 · 30 Comments
Dennis McHugh spit at Mohamed today before being removed from the house. Rex messed up a painting of Jennifer’s and the whole thing became a big event. Mohamed stood up for Rex and about three people began shouting at him. One of them was Dennis, who spat in his face and told him to “F*** off.” Mohamed, who once beat up a classmate with a belt because he was gay, got angry at Dennis about when Dennis accused him of being homophobic. Of course, the joke was on Mohamed, as he was soon in tears himself. Karma, maybe? (Sorry.) Darnell was soon screaming himself. “Who the F*** supports spitting in people’s faces!? F*** THAT S***! F*** THAT!” He went on a typical Darnell rampage, screaming and shouting. Anyway, Dennis was soon removed from the Big Brother house.

Dennis McHugh Big Brother Eviction Videos
June 27th, 2008 · 4 Comments
Here are the latest videos regarding Dennis’ ejection from the Big Brother house. In the first one, Mohamed Mohamed, Mario Marconi and Darnell Swallow express disdain that Dennis spit at Mohamed during an argument. “You can’t spit in people’s faces,” Darnell said.
“You can’t do that,” Mario agreed.
“That’s ridiculous, dude,” Darnell said.
In this next clip, Big Brother comes on the loudspeaker and calls Dennis McHugh to the diary room to remove him from the Big Brother house. Dennis predicts it, and he’s right.
“I’m gettin’ put out,” Dennis predicts.
Rachel and Jennifer are more optimistic. “Maybe you’re just getting a warning,” Jennifer says.
“See you later, Dennis,” Rachel promises.
“When you come back, Dennis, we’ll explain what time it is,” Jennifer agrees.
Unfortunately, Dennis did not return.
Instead, Mario was given a notice of Dennis’ removal from the house and read it to the group. Sylvia Barrie was in tears at the loss of Dennis, who is a close friend to her. Jennifer comforted her.

Channel 4 Releases Official Statement Regarding Dennis’ Ejection
June 27th, 2008 · 1 Comment
Channel4 has released an official statement regarding the removal of Dennis McHugh from the Big Brother house.
Dennis is removed from the Big Brother House for unacceptable behaviour…
Housemate Dennis McHugh has been removed from the Big Brother House for unacceptable behaviour.
A number of housemates were involved in an argument at approximately 12.45am this morning (27th June), which resulted from a prank played by Rex that ended in a picture painted by Jennifer being slightly defaced.
During the argument Dennis spat in the face of fellow housemate, Mohamed.
Big Brother intervened immediately to break up the argument. The ‘as live’ streaming from the house on E4 was cut and no footage was broadcast.
All the housemates involved in the argument were sent to separate bedrooms and kept apart for the rest of the night. Dennis and Mohamed were called separately to the diary room in the early hours to discuss the incident.
After production staff and executives at Channel 4 reviewed the footage this morning, Dennis was called to the diary room a second time at 1:15pm and told he was immediately being removed from the house.
Following Dennis’s removal, Big Brother continues to call to the diary room a number of other housemates to discuss their involvement in the argument and remind them of the rules governing housemates’ behaviour.
A Channel 4 spokeswoman said: “Spitting in someone’s face is seriously offensive and Mohamed was understandably upset. Big Brother has very clear rules about offensive behaviour. Like all housemates Dennis was clearly informed before entering the house that he faced eviction if he acted in an unacceptable manner.”
Viewers will be able to see the incident and how it was handled in tonight’s highlights show on Channel 4 at 9pm.
Tonight’s eviction vote, involving Mohamed and Sylvia, will proceed as planned.

Big Brother’s Dennis Sent To Jail… Again!
June 26th, 2008 · No Comments
Dennis ended up in jail once again, this time with Darnell, for discussing nominations. Dennis was currently in the middle of choreographing the Big Brother shopping task, which was an imitation of the OK GO video “Here We Go Again.” Dennis and Darnell told the housemates that they’d been put in jail for discussing the chaperoning process (when they were in hiding), however Big Brother spoiled their plans by reveling the truth to Luke Marsden. Luke told the rest of the group that Dennis and Darnell had in fact been put in jail for discussing nominations. Luckily, Dennis’ hard work so far was enough for the housemates to win the shopping task and a luxury food budget.
